Today...

A Conversation with Elizabeth (totally out of the blue) while on our way home from Target ....

Elizabeth: " I can't tickle, I can't run off, I can't ....(I couldn't hear this one), I don't ever get to do anything I want to do!" (all said totally like a teenager)

Me: "Yes you can, you get to play games that you want to, watch your favorite shows.. you get to do lots of things that you want to do."

Elizabeth: "No! I NEVER get to do anything that I want to do... hrumph(while folding her arms across her chest.)"


Heaven help me.
