During the shooting of that picture,

Jeremy sustained this injury....

I was sitting Ryan up and didn't realize he had come

up behind me with the camera at his eye...

I stood up and

WHAMO!

THE BUZZ

Ryan got his 1st BUZZ CUT

He did great.

He hated having to sit still,

but other than that he chewed on my watch and didn't care.

Sorry. I feel like this picture looks that much

grosser (is that a word?) because we have a pink tub.

An afternoon at home

I took these pictures knowing that

RYAN'S FIRST HAIR CUT

would be happening soon after.

OK, this picture just makes me laugh....

doesn't it look like all his proportions are off?

Lately I've been craving Rock a little more....
I'll be driving along wishing that I had my old Sublime, 311, or rock mix cd's with me,
only I think it's a good thing that I don't because
they probably aren't appropriate for my 3 year old to be listening too.

Lime Tree

We finally (almost 2 years later)

looked up how to trim our Lime Tree.

Now it is blooming like CRAZY!

It smells DIVINE!

You are lighting up my life during the drab winter days!

V-day & Crayon Melts

About a year ago I saw this idea for melting crayons on a blog. I would tell you where, but I honestly don't remember. So, a year ago I headed to the dollar store to get 2 hand towels and a cheese grater. I already had a large box of well used broken crayons from my childhood to use.

I finally did the project.

Elizabeth helped me sort the colors ....

And peel all the wrapping off.

(fyi: I didn't even come close to using all of these.)

Then once the kids were in bed (E is too little to handle a grater and an iron)

I set up shop.

If you don't know the next steps... well, just ask I guess. I think most people have done this before.

Then I cut out the shapes I wanted.....

This one shows off the pretty flowers Jer gave me. :)

We had a ROCKIN' VALENTINES' DAY PARTY the on Sat. the 12th. I sadly didn't get any pictures. HOWEVER, rest assured that we had a great time, with TONS of AMAZING food, (my friends are the best cooks!) and GREAT company! It was a BLAST!
